💡 Our Story
AnimalCareHub began as a small project for Hof Narr, a Swiss animal sanctuary that needed a better way to organize treatments, medication, and daily care routines.
After receiving positive feedback and growing interest from other sanctuaries, what started as a personal solution soon became something bigger — a platform to support sanctuaries worldwide.
Since then, AnimalCareHub has evolved into a complete web app designed to make sanctuary life more efficient, transparent, and stress-free. Every feature has been shaped by real-world feedback, with the aim of reducing time spent on administration and increasing time for what truly matters — caring for animals.

AnimalCareHub was founded by Rafael Kiewning, a software engineer passionate about animal welfare and practical, purpose-driven technology.
After collaborating closely with Hof Narr and other sanctuaries, Rafael decided to turn the idea into a long-term project — developing AnimalCareHub with a focus on simplicity, reliability, and empathy.
The mission is clear: to make sanctuary management easier, so that care teams can spend their energy where it counts — with the animals.
